|My Hospital Picture Still Giving My Beauty Product Reviews Even While There LOL!|
Buenos Diaz!!! I’ve got a late start but feeling so much better. The sleeping pill the doctor prescribed helped a little.
Today is one of them extra painful days… having my bandages removed so that I can take a REAL SHOWER! No more sponge baths THANK YOU VERY MUCHO! Bandages will be put back on once I’m done showering, that also hurts…
Due to my prior 2 c-sections the doctor cleared out the scar tissue and lengthened the original c-section incision to do the hysterectomy. This means my stitches/staples won’t be coming out until next week. The Doctor wanted to give my body added time to heal due to the scar tissue.
Every woman has a different experience with their hysterectomy. I have had friends tell me they were out from the hospital in one day or were back to normal in a couple of weeks.
Gosh how I wish I had such an easy operation! BUT the c-sections AND the D&C (Scraping of the uterus) have ALWAYS been with issues. I didn’t expect anything less from my hysterectomy.
Time is the biggest stress point. It will take a few weeks to get my cancer tests back for my removed uterus. The Doctor said it was abnormally large but nothing looked “unusual” from what he can see. My ovaries are perfect and he left those intact… thank goodness!
He said: “You won’t be so mean since I left them in.”
Me: “I’m ALREADY mean! Can’t imagine myself even more so!”
I can’t imagine myself through menopause .. Wooohh! I will officially turn in to a fire breathing dragon. OYE!
Well there’s my update. Life is a bit painful but am EXTREMELY happy to be heading on the direction of finally regaining my health! To run, play and dance once again felt like a dream I could never reach!!! To see myself finally doing these things again in only a couple of months is beyond AWESOME!
