FATKini Fashion Cover Up – For The Bottom Half (Outfit Of The Day)

Today I took the kiddos to the water park and had a blast!  I’m not allowed in the water due to my hysterectomy but used my time to get some color on me as I’ve been on bed rest for these past few weeks.  It felt AWESOME to feel the sun’s warmth again.

So, to keep the padding that the Doctor has instructed me to do until I’m healed I had to figure out how I was going to make my swimwear work for me.  I decided on my “Forever21” Fatkini and used my ASOS see through polka-dot skirt to help cover up my padding.  It looks as if my Fatkini bottom has a black panel on the waist but it’s actually the mini skirt attached to my polka-dot skit.  I carefully folded this piece and tucked it in to my Fatkini bottom and it looked great!

Never be afraid to use your regular clothing when thinking on swimwear.  Especially if you’re lounging as I was forced to do. Ha!
NOTE: DO NOT wear your regular clothing pieces in to water that is chemically treated.  It will fade or damage it.

This Fatkini and polka-dot skirt is no longer available.  One thing about swimwear and out of the ordinary pieces is that they SELL FAST and usually are not re-stocked.  If you like it… GET IT if you can!

I did find a few Fatkinis in this style on Ebay.  I have not purchased one from these specific vendors but have heard they were decent for the price.

I’m sorry but I couldn’t find a similar skirt in Plus Size.

Do you like the look?  Let me know!

Thank you! I purchased this gently used from Garner Style when she was cleaning out her closet. I snatched it up and cut about 12" from the bottom to fit my shortness. =)
