If you follow my public Facebook page you will notice that I share many of the giveaways I enter. Recently I decided to try a little casual tropics in my life and entered to win this outfit. I don’t have flowery prints or green in my wardrobe and thought it was a great way to step outside my fashion box.
I was ecstatic when I was contacted as the winner and quickly sent my measurements and mailing address. The whole outfit was in my hands within days! It came with a very pretty matching green necklace that I forgot to put on when we did this shoot today and would have been perfect to complete this look.
This outfit is perfect for a day out at the beach or park. I even imagined myself doing a photo shoot cycling with a big pretty hat, but my health isn’t up to par just yet… soon when I have and heal from my next cancer preventive surgery I will take that photo shoot opportunity.
The name of the game is color! I couldn’t help myself and my Daughter scouted this mural and decided to go for it. I did an impacting eye with green, blue and purples and kept my lipstick in a neutral copper brown. There was so much color projecting from the mural that it added in changing my skin tone and highlighting pinks and reds on my face.
Measurements: 47 – 42 – 53 Height: 5’0
I was sent the XL in both the shirt and pants but think a size smaller would have been perfect for a more fitted look. Being that it’s a casual look it worked fine and prefer my pants to be a high waist so that it doesn’t roll down my muffins. I really LOVE the cute bow detail of the capri pants and the material doesn’t stretch out or loose it’s form even though it has a lot of stretch. The blouse is light and loose and did roll up the sleeves as I have tiny arms in length.
