The Dress HE Called me Dorothy In (Outfit Of The Day)

If I could wear petticoats to work I surely would!  I love the Retro/Pin-Up and feel and look young and free.

Cherry Velvet has a perfect fit on my round body and thick arms.  Their designs are classic and VERY comfortable to wear.  This is the 2nd dress I’ve worn from their line and love it!  I just had to pull out my big red petticoat and pin up hair and add some long gorgeous curls.

My Son and I found this perfect house with the tiniest flowers I knew were PERFECT for my look.  As I’m getting ready to position myself on the stairs my Son says “Ok Dorothy give me a big smile!”   Mwahahahaaa!  I’m glad he enjoys these looks and hope it leaves great memories of his Mama for years to come.

This dress looks just as pretty without the petticoats but can be easily switched up to Retro with a few accessories.  The fit is comfortable and the neckline is very flattering and the blue and red went perfectly.  I loved everything about this dress!

Measurements:  49 – 44 – 55                    Height:  5’0

I wear their 2X and it fits perfectly.  Sadly this dress is not listed on their site any more BUT there is a LOVELY all red with red polka-dots available and on Sale at:  Cherry Velvet “Daphne”
I received mine in my Gwynnie Bee Subscription.  Receive YOUR FREE Subscription at the following link.

This is a great look for you Elizabeth! Your polka dot dress juxtaposes nicely with the pink flowers that you are sitting next to. 🙂

Aww, that’s nice. I bet that your son knows that he has a great mom in you. 🙂 I feel the same about my own mother as she means the world to me.
