Is this my first LONG summer dress?? I believe so!
I’m such a shorty that I rarely wear long lengths. I saw this dress and decided to give it a try. The weather called for 90 degree weather and said – heck why not!
“Tbags Los Angeles” is a contemporary designer and this is my first piece wearing a design from their line. I decided to try out a 1XL as I try to size down a bit to help with the length. As you can see this dress is very roomy and was a bit loose one me. Even though the design didn’t fit the way it was depicted on the model I decided to own it and felt like a Summer Goddess. Each dress is different as the material has a unique pattern – think of it something similar to picking out a granite slab – it comes together in a different pattern. Once I understood this and got over the way I thought the dress was to be worn, it really turned out different and still very comfortable and fun to wear.
I was a bit challenged on putting it on as there is no label to guide me… BUT just remember to put the “knot” design towards the front and then tie the belt towards the back. The arms are very wide – perfect for a large armed woman like myself – but it has a built in tank that will keep your bra showing from the sides and adds added coverage from the bust detail.
I may order it another size down and hope my next piece will fit me as the it was designed and that the unique material cut will be closer to what the model is wearing. I still think I rocked it!
Measurements: 47 – 42 – 51 Height: 5’0
I’m wearing the Size 1XL and it fit very loose on me. I normally wear a 2-3XL in most designs and recommend to size this one down depending on your own measurements. This particular dress is not available but the line is carried by “Bloomingdales” and currently has a similar dress on sale. The link to the designer there is: Tbags Los Angeles Plus Size
