Silvery Faux Wrap Skirt Dress by Jessica Howard (Outfit Of The Day)

What an interesting design.  It was soft, watery feel with a little bit of shine.  The day was warm and this was a perfect piece to keep me cool with lots of movement. The built in slip really helped in helping the material flow over my body with a little bit of stretch for comfort.

I decided to dress it down for work but did play around with a very shiny cream shadow in silver for fun.  My studded flats added to the fun comfort and gave it a punch of sophistication by putting my hair high up in a large bun.  My Son kept throwing flowers in it while I wasn’t looking ha!

Measurements:  47 – 42 – 53            Height:  5’0

I decided on a Size 16W but think the design calls for a more loose look and should try a 18W instead.  It still looked great but my curves may have changed the design’s intention.  My work’s Production Director actually wants to use it for our 1940’s performance for the main character’s costume.  Awesome right?!

Currently not available in any stores I searched on line for, but did find one listed on Ebay for a Size 18W:

Surprisingly the look I pulled together was quite earthy and received compliments from my coworkers.  Sometimes a gal just wants to be comfy while still a FAThionista.  Mwahahahaa!

Loving the simplicity of this look and love your blog! I also like how you take the time to give details about the fit of the clothes you are posting as garments look different on different body shapes.
