Making Prom/Grad Dreams Come True!
It’s Prom time and many young girls and their families are in search of the perfect prom dress and look. One of my close friends called me to action and I was there with my makeup bags and hair items in tow. I went over a couple of pictures of the looks they were interested in and went to work.
On our test makeup and hair I was asked to style the Grad’s pictures for her graduation party. After going through the items in her closet I decided to surprise her. I got on line that same night and ordered a few dresses for the photo shoot. The dresses came in time for this weekend’s schedule and I tried out my “Luminess” airbrush system on her for the first time. She loved the look and so did I.
Accessories are from “Rocks Box” subscription and the dresses are from my “Rent The Runway” Subscription. I’m fortunate to be able to use it for this special Grad!
Nha Khanh “Red Lace Dahlia Dress”
This dress is in a coral dress with a nude underlining. It is light, fun and romantic. It’s easy to wear and style up or down to whatever personality best matches the Grad. Accent with more jewels or contrasting color to really show some extra personality.
My Grad kept it neutral with a matching bow heel. I added a skinny belt to add some detail to the waist. The fun background was a perfect frame and contrast to the lace detail of the dress.
Reyna is wearing Size 8 and would recommend sizing this down.

BCBGMAXAZRIA “Wrapped in Rose Sheath” Dress
For the glamorous Grad this Rose sequined dress is a favorite. There’s stretch for comfort and the design is modern to satisfy the budding fashionista. There is enough interest on the dress that all we did was add a t-strap black heel with bow detail on the side.
I brightened up her lipstick and stuck with the neutral makeup tones. Rayna is wearing Size M and due to the stretchy material I recommend ordering a size smaller for a fitted look.

Gabriela Cadena “Kaleidoscopic Gown”
Rayna’s Graduation party is in Hawaiian theme. I added all the flowers in my collection to her hair and I have to say that this is one of my favorite gowns and look. The colors on the skirt are vibrant and dreamy with every movement. I caught Rayna swinging it around when she thought I wasn’t looking.
She’s wearing it in a size 8 and it fit perfectly. It is a bit long while she wore in with flats but will be the perfect length in heels.
