Ever wonder what Princess Leia would be like as an Accountant in the 21st Century? Wonder no more!
Like many Starwars aficionados we were besides ourselves on the release day of this long awaited movie. There were Marathons planned to lead up to the midnight release of this episode but… there were those of us that found ourselves required to work and take the kiddos to school – like myself.
I had a day full of meetings with the CPA and I did warn them beforehand that I was a Starwars fan. As I brain stormed on what to wear that was still professional yet in theme – I had an evening planned with my kiddos to watch this movie in IMAX after school/work. Well, one of my recent Black Friday purchases was of this sophisticated and classic design from Eloquii. It was perfect for what I had envisioned!
I wore my faux buns (Click Here For Details) and wanted to give it an edgy look and added my ASOS caged belt from a few seasons ago (sorry, no long available). Finished the look with my comfortable Mary Jane heels from Payless (Click Here) as I had a long day of running through the office and knew there would be lines at the theater.
In keeping in character I used a neutral pallet with a red lip. It looked amazing!
The added bonus was the fellow Starwars fans I came across that bowed and addressed me as Princess Leia. Starbucks barista offered me a complimentary pastry to go with my morning latte. Truly was fun cosplaying one of my favorite characters in my every day life and profession. Future meshing of cosplay characters are already coming to life in my head.
