I am MEGA FAN of “The Walking Dead!” I’ve had planned to use this costume for the Zombie Walk in Downtown Long Beach, CA but I had my surgery that day and didn’t make it out. I also look forward to Halloween every year to dress up in something WONDERFUL!
My Son had a BLAST in this photo shoot. I had the perfect spot in mind and he took some great pictures of me getting in to character and devouring a human hand… Don’t worry it was made out of plastic and the “blood” is all ketchup… HA!
This is a TORRID costume I found “gently used” earlier this year. It was comfy and great FUN to wear. I had kids and adults take pictures with me as well as tell me how “awesome” I looked.
Due to my extremely sensitive skin I used my regular makeup to create the look. Using a tiny square makeup sponge I mixed patterns on my face, neck, chest, arms and legs. I used my orange, green, blues, purples, black and grey eye shadow randomly on these patterns and “streaks.” I then added dimension with a black eye pencil and a white eye pencil as well as a liquid bronzer. After applying red lipstick in a HORRID fashion I applied red lip gloss over it as well as splatter more ketchup for a messier “eating.” If work permitted us to dress up I would of been more elaborate and added intricate “wounds.”
All in all it came out great and had an AMAZING Halloween! Here’s my tribute to “The Walking Dead!”
