Leggings: The Many Faces in Fashion

One of my favorite pieces are leggings.  They’ve come A LONG WAY from the uni color we first seen come out in the 70’s/80’s. I remember wearing these in the 80’s with my button shirts and large belts as we were rounding out of the Disco Era (I may not look that old, but I am.)  Now we see designs and colors as well as stretch lace and combo pieces that include leather!
Leggings can be dressed up or down and can turn a short un-comfy dress in to a wearable item that will allow for “no second thoughts” when one has an active life.  I am a Petite-Round-Latina and love the versatility of being able to customize them by folding them in or folding them up for a calf length.

My favorites by far are the leggings with designs, most especially the stretchy lace!  They are fun and found them to be very comfortable.
I asked a few of my friends for their favorite Leggings pic and below are their pictures.  Each one is beautiful and unique and am thankful for their participation in this post with me!

I was dealing with illness in the family including myself. I'm fortunate to have GREAT friends that jump in to help when I need it.
