Crown Of Flowers For The Girl Next Door (Outfit Of The Day)

Poppy & Bloom “The Girl Next Door” Pink Floral Dress

I recently did a review on this same cut in white with polka-dots and I had to see how the pink flower print would look.  I don’t normally wear the pretty flower print and this is a great look.  I added my crown of colorful flowers to match this pretty dress and worked out perfectly.
The light blue and hot pink was easy to pull from the print in to my accessories.  Aside from my crown of flowers I added a light blue rhinestone necklace and my hot pink kitten heels.  You can add a cardigan and/or bracelets to change the look.
I thought it best to keep my makeup traditional with basic eyes and just emphasize my cheeks with rose and a retro red lip.  I can also pop the eye color to hot pink and use a warmer color on my cheeks with a neutral lip with a lip gloss in brown or light pink hues.
The classic cut of this dress gives you the choice to wear it to work, a lunch date or an event that calls for a dressy casual look even for a day at the park.  Again, accessories will play a big part on the look that best suits your needs.  Don’t be afraid to wear a flower or a crown of flowers for those days you need a little extra magic!

Necklace and Kitten Heels were in my collection for quite a while and no longer available.

Measurements:     47 – 42  – 53                          Height:  5’0

I’m wearing size 18 and did fit me a little bit big on the bodice/torso area.  Nothing that a couple of easy stitches can’t make a perfect fit.  This dress is currently available on line at:
